Wara has experiences working in the tax consulting practice particularly in the transfer pricing practices since 2004. Her previous role was a Director in the Big Four consulting firm in Indonesia specializing in Transfer Pricing and International Taxes. She has extensive knowledge with various projects such as transfer pricing disputes, documentation, planning as well as Advance Pricing Agreement (APA).

During her professional career, Wara has been involved in the full range of Indonesian tax issues, including VAT, corporate, employee and withholding taxes. It enables her to provide a strong transfer pricing planning and advice from both the transfer pricing and other taxes perspective. Wara has been exposed with a wide variety of Industry Sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, banking, insurance, automotive, industrial markets, telecommunication, commodities, oil and gas.

Wara owns licenses as a Certified Indonesian Tax Consultant (Brevet C Level), Indonesian Tax Court – Licensed Proxy, several Transfer Pricing training in Singapore and Rome, and secondment to a consulting firm in Japan.

Wara holds a Bachelor degree from University of Brawijaya, Malang.
